Clearwater, Florida - Shepherds of Christ Ministries has begun acquisition of the Mary Image Building in Clearwater, Florida for use as a center of spiritual renewal. We will have a prayer service Sunday July 5th, 1998 at the site begining at 6:30 PM. The state of Florida and the world are in desperate need of prayers. All are welcome to come. The service will last for the three hours Jesus hung on the cross. Messages from God will be delivered by locutionist Rita Ring. We believe this site is a gift from the Holy Trinity to remind us to care for our souls. Please join us in daily prayer for this effort: Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee. Blessed art though amoung women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. (see Luke 1:28 and Luke 1:42)

We want to make this site available to people of all faiths for quiet prayer and reflection. Do we not all pray to the same Heavenly Father? Satan and his fallen angels (Rev. 12:17) fuel the division between men. We do not want to be instruments in their war against God by giving into feelings of hatred or division. We want this site to be a witness to God's love and a catalyst for conversion to God. We want to pray for peace! We want to help bring the Mother Mary's Fatima Mission to completion.

Shepherds of Christ Ministries was founded in 1994. We are a non-profit, charitible, religious organization. Our primary mission is to distribute the spirituality newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, which is devoted to improving the spiritual welfare of priests and laity. This newsletter is distributed free of charge to approximately 50,000 priests in the United States. Priests in about 90 other countries also receive the English or Spanish version of the newsletter. We hope to make the newsletter available in all the major languages of the world as resources permit.

As a companion ministry to the newsletter, Shepherds of Christ Associates aims at establishing prayer chapters around the world. Shepherds of Christ Associates exists under Church law as provided in canons 298 and 299. We encourage prayer for priests, religious, laity, the Church and its leadership, and the people of the world. The prayers found in the prayer manual include recitation of the rosary and lead to personal consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The chapters meet on a regular basis, often weekly, to pray the prayers in the manual and share Christ's love with one another.
